The Diocese of Lichfield seeks to appoint an Enabler to work within the Encounter project team, working with primary schools and churches in Stoke on Trent to create new worshipping communities across the City.
Encounter will be based in 9 primary schools, paired with local churches. Each project will work with parents and families through activities based in school and community premises, identifying opportunities for mission, offering pathways to discipleship and journeying with people into new worshipping communities and active Christian faith.
Each Encounter Enabler will develop and equip 3 of the NWCs, under the oversight of the Encounter Leader, supported by volunteers from the local church.
Line-management, regular supervision ensuring training needs are met, and support will be given to the Enablers.
This is a six-year fixed term contract with a salary of £30,000
