The session will be an opportunity for you to explore how churches include pilgrimage to engage people with their mission, community, and fundraising.

1. Review of pilgrimage in the Diocese: how pilgrimage can support mission, community and fundraising –Ride + Stride, Around Lichfield Pilgrimage, and The Pilgrim Way Church Trail (Tatenhill to Lichfield)

2. Creating and following pilgrimage trails as part of your church’s activities

3. Welcoming pilgrims to your church

Who is it for: Clergy, churchwardens, PCC, volunteers and anyone interested in the care and maintenance of church buildings

Course Hosts: Organized by Phil Coleman, St Michaels & All Angels, Tatenhill, with Christine Rier, CBSO. Guest panel of speakers sharing experiences and insights with pilgrimage in the Diocese of Lichfield.

Time: 12:30 - 2:30pm
