  • Lichfield Cathedral Organ Scholarship

    The Chapter of Lichfield Cathedral is seeking to appoint an Organ Scholar from 1 September 2019. This will be a full-time organ scholarship, tenable for one year but with the possibility to apply for a second year. A graduate is preferred but the scholarship is open to all suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
    The scholarship is designed to provide an opportunity for a talented musician to build on his or her skills in a supportive and creative environment, whilst contributing significantly to the musical like of Lichfield Cathedral as an integral part of the music team. The organ scholar is managed by the Assistant Director of Music, who in turn reports to the Director of Music. The Music Department is overseen by the Canon Precentor.
