We are praying that God will lead us to a Vicar who will help us develop our vision to grow in faith, proclaim hope, and live the love of Jesus.
Meole Brace is a large parish on the south side of Shrewsbury in beautiful Shropshire. Holy Trinity church and the adjoining Trinity Centre are at the heart of the old village, with strong links to schools and the community. The parish includes Victorian, mid-century, and modernsuburbs of the town, with varying characteristics and missional needs.
We are a large, active, prayerful, open evangelical church with several congregations of all ages and from various traditions. With a common desire to be shaped by God’s word, led by the Spirit, and rooted in the love of Jesus, there is a strong sense of unity, even between people with different views.
We are seeking a Vicar who will:
- Lead and inspire our ministry and staff teams and volunteers
- Love, teach, and support us all as we seek to be more like Jesus
- Value and maintain unity
- Welcome people and engage with the wider community
