One church burnt by Owain Glyndwr, one bought from Harrods!
Can you help us to grow the Kingdom together here?
A compact rural benefice of five Shropshire villages, near Oswestry in the shelter of the Welsh hills, with shared community life and a sustainable pattern of worship.
Our worship and church life is a mix of traditions and styles, with lay worship-leaders being an important part of our team. We are keen to develop worship attractive to people outside the congregations.
We pray for a priest who will love and lead our churches and our villages, and who will lead and support us as we seek to:
- Be purposeful about evangelism and depth of discipleship;
- Engage creatively with our local communities;
- Grow younger;
- Build a sustainable future for our churches, including financially.
We will make you welcome and work willingly with you in God’s service here. We can also provide you with a modern vicarage in a quiet location with excellent views!
