Dovedale House is situated in Ilam, set in the stunning White Peak area of the Peak District National Park. Ilam has been a place of healing and pilgrimage for over a thousand years and a significant place for many in their spiritual journey. The burial place of the Saxon Prince, Prayer Warrior and Patron Saint of Stafford, Bertram (or Bertoline). It's a place with a story and a place of adventures. We welcome all ages - families, groups, schools, individuals, pilgrims and visitors, to come and be part of the story... We offer full-board accommodation for up to 54 guests, but smaller groups are welcome too. Flexibility is our strength
We also cater for day groups, church away days, school activity days and groups that wish to hire meeting rooms or book in for meals. Still not sure? The Peak District has so much more to offer...walking, riding, cycling, climbing, canoeing, orienteering, farm visits, sailing, caving and Alton Towers! We can help with ideas and contacts.
