Community of Evangelists: Evangelism on the Terraces

• Keynote Speaker and hosted by Fr Andrew Swift - the 'Keeper of Valiant Church'
• Andrew will be hosting us and talking about his experiences of setting up Valiant Church which meets before every Port Vale home game.

Andrew describes himself as; "I'm Andrew and I'm the Team Rector of the North Potteries Team Ministry in Stoke on Trent, and Chaplain to the newly promoted Port Vale Football Club. Although born and raises in the Diocese of Lichfield I began ministry in London before 'coming home' 10 years ago. Since the 2023/24 football season I have led Valiant Church, a fresh expression and new worshipping community based at Holy Trinity, Sneyd, and since the beginning of the 2024/25 season have been one of the two Chaplains to the Club providing pastoral support to the owners, coaches, players, and staff, as well as fans."
