A great place to meet people and even take in a breath of fresh air canal side!
Stan Ball Centre hold their coffee morning in their bright and welcoming bistro area which in the summer months opens out onto their patio by the canal. Regular community member Linda told me that they often see ducks and swans outside and even a heron, and Ann who hosts the Place of Welcome said that in the summer the canal is covered with beautiful lily pads.
Free refreshments are on offer as always, and there is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You can also opt to stay for lunch too, which does have a cost and there are lots of other activities going on at Stan Ball Centre that you can find out about while you are there!
