The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are inviting churches to pray for the evangelisation of the nation during the week before Pentecost Sunday.  They have written to every parish priest suggesting various ways churches can engage with the week of prayer and Bishop Clive is encouraging parishes to get involved.  More can be found on the dedicated website 'Thy Kingdom Come' and prayers and resource material will be included in the Diocesan Prayer Diary.

In every region there is a large worship gathering called a ‘Beacon Event', bringing people together for prayer and praise. Our event will be held at Coventry Cathedral at 5:00pm on Pentecost Sunday (15th May).

Please note too the additional opportunity to pray for and join with the worldwide church on GPS Sunday (Global Positioning Sunday), 29th May - resources available from the World Mission website.
