Judgments on Churchyards

Clifton Campville St Mary the Virgin (No Man's Heath) - February 2022

A petition was submitted for the construction of a trench through the churchyard for a foul drain for a disabled toilet which was to be installed in the church building.

Tutbury St Mary the Virgin - January 2017

Installation of permanent wreath holders, contended by Historic England and Tutbury Parish Council. Wreath holders not considered of high artistic quality but proposals thought be an improvement. Faculty granted.

Telford St George's - November 2016

Proposed works to the churchyard to include the movement of seven monuments the cleared space to facilitate an open area for community use. Activities should be considered in their appropriateness for the churchyard. Faculty granted.

Northwood Holy Trinity - July 2015

A petition was submitted for works to install a bar across the top of the finials of the iron railings. The Faculty was granted.

Eccleshall Holy Trinity - March 2013

Creation of Area for Burial of Cremated Remains, approach to be taken to alterations in a churchyard, whether individual memorials or collective memorial to be permitted in Area for Burial of Cremated Remains.
