St Peter's church will be turned into a catwalk to raise awareness about 'fast fashion' at this multimedia event.
It will include a fashion show where people will model clothes from local charity shops along with a market-place and clothes swap, spoken word pieces and bible readings.
The event is part of a wider Re:Dress project in the Diocese to raise awareness of the human and environmental cost of the fast fashion and textile industry.
An estimated 100 billion garments are manufacted every year, often overseas in factories with poor working conditions. This can also lead to pollution, a drain on natural resources and tons of unwanted clothes heading to landfill.
Tickets will be available from this page shortly.
