Contemporary challenges around ashes and bodies

Culture is changing. Technology is changing. Funerals are changing- and there are big sociological and theological questions emerging.

This one day conference is held in the very special context of the National Memorial Arboretum, giving space to listen and reflect as we explore the challenges for all who provide death and funeral care.

Speakers include Professor Douglas Davies, Isabel Russo, Sandra Millar and Joanna Collicut-McGrath, and the day will be hosted by The Rt. Revd. John Inge, Bishop of Worcester.

Topics include:

  • Why bodies matter
  • Ashes to ashes: then what?
  • No goodbye, no problem.

£85 per place including VAT, all lunch and materials.

Early booking discount of £65 per place (inc VAT) for all bookings received before 20 May
