St.Thomas' Church, Aldridge, Aldridge: St Mary the Virgin, WS9 8SL
A very warm welcome to St. Thomas' Church! We are a friendly, Spirit-filled, evangelical (Bible-believing) church which is situated on the Coppy Hall Estate in Aldridge, near Walsall. Our vision statement is 'Up, In and Out' with worship, discipleship, prayer and evangelism as key aspects of the life of our church. Fellowship is also very important to us and we aim to give every new attender a really friendly and supportive experience. Our Vicar, Mark and the Ministry Team are helping us to continually grow in our ability to discern the living word of God and organise frequent visiting speakers, encouraging us to develop prophetic gifts and Spirit-filled lives. Our most recent visitor was Mark Marx, who developed the 'Healing on the Streets' healing ministry and we are aiming to continue this ourselves in the Aldridge shopping area. We have more exciting speakers coming to us this year (2019). Please do come along, we'd love to get to know YOU!
A time of Spirit-filled worship, prayer and Bible-based teaching. Come and be filled up with God's love for the week ahead and enjoy a sociable time afterwards when we would love to get to know you! Children's groups and creche are all provided for a safe, secure and nurturing environment to help your child with their lifelong journey loving Jesus.
A Spirit-Led service with three main elements: worship, word and waiting on the Lord. Worship, teaching and ministry time in other words! Come and be filled for the week ahead and enjoy spending some social time with us over coffee. Children's groups and creche provide and nurturing environment for children.
A Spirit-led worship service. There is no formal teaching in terms of a sermon but we wait on the Spirit and spend time sharing testimonies and prophecy. There is ample time for ministry and praying for one-another. This is proving an increasingly popular service and there have been some brilliant results from attending.
