  • Questions of Faith and Life

    We meet in the Brooke Room at Church on Monday evenings, once a month, a chance to explore your questions and learn more about the Christian faith. We meet at 8pm and talk through to 9.15pm. This is an ideal group for those who are exploring faith, or who want to ask questions, no matter how basic! It’s not a group for experts! There is no need to register that you are coming, just feel free to come along. Each session stands alone, so you came come whenever you are free.

    Every third Monday of the month at 19:00 in St Andrew's for our modern service. Each month we explore a theme and praise with contemporary songs.
    You are also very welcome to stay on for our Questions of Faith and Life Service after the service finishes.

  • Little Fishes - Parent, Carer and Baby, Toddler service

    Especially for very young children and their carers. On Wednesdays at 9.30am Little Fishes offers worship for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschool Children every Wednesday during Term Time, followed by crafts and coffee for carers. We meet in the Lady Chapel and share a bible story or theme, some prayers and songs, and celebrate special events in our children's lives. The highlight of the year is the Little Fishes Nativity! Do come and join us, you can find out the dates we are open by contacting our Parish Administrator.

    Lent Course 2019 - Praying the bible

    Would you like to know more about the bible? What is the bible all about? How can it speak to me? How do I pray using the bible? How can you use the bible to support a life of faith?

    These and many more questions will be answered in this year's lent course. Every Thursday evening 7:15pm until 9pm different topics on the bible will explored from techniques in reading the bible and prayer, through to how to take social action and live a life guided by faith:

    7th March - Week 1: Introduction of the Bible
    14th March - Week 2: The Bible and the Church's Liturgy
    21st March - Week 3: Group Bible Study
    28th March - Week 4: The Bible, Imaginative Engagement
    4th April - Week 5: Prayerful reading of the Bible
    11th April - Week 6: The Bible, Prayer and Social Action

    This course is aimed at all levels of understanding from the, novice to the experienced. You are welcome to come to all sessions or just the ones that interest you or that you can make.

    No need to book - just turn up!
