Sitting in picturesque countryside, in the heart of the village of Norbury, your Church is an impressive 14th Century building. You are very welcome to come and sit or look around our beautiful Grade 1 listed building, which is heaped with history as well as being a quiet place for a time of reflection.


Sunday Services are usually held every Sunday at 11am and you are very welcome to join us. 


The Church is open every day from 10am to 4pm.

Your Church is never closed only sometimes locked. If you would like to look around outside the times above, please contact the Church Warden on 01785 284463.

  • Remembrance - World War I Centenary

    Norbury Church will be open every weekend in November. For anyone who would like to come and remember the men from Norbury and around the World who paid the ultimate sacrifice, as well as remembering all people who have served in all conflicts over the last 100 years.

  • Messy Church

    Messy Church Service takes place on the third Sunday of the month, 4.00pm to 5.30pm, at St Lawrence Church, Gnosall. This is a service for all the family to participate in. We have a bible story, a number of activity stations and the evening concludes with a light tea for children and adults.

  • Soup Lunches

    Please join us every Wednesday during Lent for a homemade soup in support of the Bishops Lent Appeal.
    The Soup is £3.00 and includes homemade soup with bread & butter, fresh fruit and a hot drink.
    No need to book - just come along any time between 12:30pm & 1:30pm.

    This year’s Lent Appeal will support charities which help those suffering trauma both at home and abroad - as well as considering mental health more widely.

  • Norbury Soup Lunches (Norbury Village Hall)

    Each Wednesday in Lent starting on Ash Wednesday, 1st March - 5th April.

    Children's Club meets on the first Thursday of the month, 5.30 - 6.45pm at Woodseaves School. This is a fun packed evening of games, crafts and a bible story for children of primary school age.

  • Operation Churchyard

    Calling all Volunteers...

    We would be very grateful to anyone who is able to come along and help get our beautiful Churchyard ready for Summer on the first Saturday of every month.

    Please bring gardening tools, strimmers etc. to give the Churchyard a tidy.

    Drinks and cake will be provided.
