Sessional Anglican Chaplain
Under the guidance of the co-ordinating chaplain, the sessional Church of England Chaplain is expected to:
- Attend the establishment for 20 hours per week
- Be a fully involved member of the chaplaincy team
- Manage resources for the Church of England faith group
- To take part in all aspects of ministry including the leading of worship services, statutory duties, the membership of management groups and the delivery of prison service standards
- Provide for the pastoral needs of the establishment
- To design, develop, conduct, evaluate and modify religious activities and programmes in religious education, using any available audio-visual, musical and curriculum resources
- Develop advocacy and faith community links
