The Local Mission and Evangelism Department works with parishes to help them focus on mission, evangelism and growth, assisting them to dream their dreams, develop their visions and to implement them.
We work closely with Ministry, Transforming Communities, World Mission and Education to achieve the “Going for Growth” strategy of the Diocese
George Fisher, as Director of Mission, sees his role as doing all he can to support those working in the parishes and using his experience to help and encourage. He is willing to talk to individuals, leadership teams, PCCs, clusters, chapters, and deaneries. Along with Richard Barrett, his research assistant, the department aims to provide an efficient and comprehensive service to the churches.

Statistics for Mission
As of New Year's Day 2013, we have been collecting the attendance statistics for 2012. Those responsible for each church have already been contacted, but the 'How To' is still available here.
